CBH for IBS
Hi, I’m Bernie
I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist with specialist training in the gut–brain connection and stress-related digestive disorders.
My integrated approach combines CBT principles, hypnotherapy, and relaxation-based methods to help clients overcome chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, and phobias, as well as reduce digestive discomfort and regulate stress responses.
I also provide clinical guidance and therapeutic support to clients throughout the Nerva 6-week gut-directed therapy program for IBS.
I work with people of all ages and genders, and every session is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your story.
I use evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy (CBH), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Havening and EFT, but more importantly, I listen. Really listen. Because I know that healing doesn’t happen from a textbook, it happens when you feel safe, seen, and never rushed.
I use evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy (CBH), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Havening, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) but most important is listening.
If you’re ready to take that first step, on your journey complete the short form below.

In sessions, I blend talk therapy with experiential tools such as Hypnotherapy, Havening and EFT — making the process not only effective in helping you make change, but deeply healing, relaxing & comforting.

Within this session, we’ll understand what you’re currently experiencing & map out what moving forward looks like to you.
